PROFILE

I am a social work professional turned full-stack developer who is passionate about helping people and groups of people make their dreams realized; this led me to discover web development and enroll in Actualize. I value building beautiful software through collaboration and the sharing of ideas.

PROJECTS

PARALEL

PARALEL is a web app that helps social-service organizations maintain an efficient case-management system while improving staff connectivity and communication. Users are able to create case and staff profiles for organizations in various roles. Staff are able to interact with one another with built-in news feed, calendars, and maps. PARALEL was built using Ruby on Rails on the back end, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML on the front end, and leveraging internal and Google Maps APIs.

● Software development on internal user and production systems

● Work with teams and pair program on projects to complete web applications for clientele

● As Deployment Manager, responsible for all code before being merged to master and production

● Developing apps with Agile process (sprints, sprint planning, stories, trello, etc.)
