OBJECTIVE: To obtain an Industrial Design position within a small to medium size firm. Capitalizing on my experience and education to help improve product appearance, customer acceptance, and cost management. Adjunct Instructor, Presently teaching 2 courses, 1) 3D Modeling, Rendering using 3ds Max Design 2015,

2D-3D Mechanical Design using Autodesk Inventor 2015. Students generate completed Autodesk Inventor 2015 / AutoCAD 2D-3D Mechanical Models, as well as 3D Architectural Models in earlier courses. Students learn how to effectively render realistic professional images of their projects in-order to make effective presentations. 2) Design Theory and Methods, students study the Creative Design Process and are exposed

to other design disciplines such as Industrial Design, Mechanical Design Engineering and Graphic Design. Students generate graphic images utilizing Adobe CS6.2 Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Industrial Designer, Responsible for the design and development of a wide variety of Point of Purchase Displays manufactured by local contacts. Currently responsible for concept sketches and final presentation renderings based on sales and client input. Direct client interaction from concept to prototype assembly.

Currently using AutoCAD 2015 and Autodesk Inventor 2015 for 3D modeling of concepts, rendering in 3ds Max Design 2015. Graphics created for concepts and final production by using customer provided files, Adobe CS6.2 Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.

Sample Coordinator, Direct interaction between client and vendors for prototype fabrication.

Generated AutoCAD pre-production drawings, outsourced part drawings, used for production by vendors. Supervise display prototype fabrication, hardware selection, support graphics, instruction sheets and final presentations to the client. (2007 to Present)

Purchasing Agent, Responsible for the daily ordering of all materials used to produce Exhibit, Trade Show and Point of Purchase Displays manufactured on site. Conducted daily progress meetings, with project managers, sales reps. and out-sourced vendors. Supervised lean stock inventory levels, tracked all consumable materials on order. Negotiated fair market prices for all consumable materials, plywood, laminates, metals, plastics, paints, inks, graphic films, and outsourced printing.

Industrial Designer, Responsible for the design and development of Permanent Point of Purchase Displays.

Daily interaction with clients from the concept stage to finished prototype and final display production. Designed / developed various Point of Purchase Displays and Trade Show Exhibits utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Rendered all final design concepts using 3ds Max / Autodesk Viz 2006. Created display graphics for prototype and production fixtures using Adobe CS3 Illustrator, Photoshop.

Presentation renderings completed using Autodesk Viz /3ds MAX 2004. Graphics for presentations and production where created in Adobe CS3 Illustrator, Photoshop.

Generated concept renderings and shop drawings based on sales and client input. Direct interaction with clients, from the concept stage to finished prototypes and production runs. Generated 3D Models using CAD 2004 and Inventor 6, using Autodesk Viz 2004 for presentation renderings. Created graphics for prototype and production runs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Trade Show Coordinator, Responsible for installation and dismantling of various booth configurations used

during a calendar year. On site contact for all phases, carpentry, electrical, graphics and shipping. Responsible for 3 to 4 Trade shows a year, mainly in the Metro Chicago area. (1998 to 2003)

Industrial Designer Provided the design and development drawings for various Trade Show Exhibits manufactured on site. Designed and presented conceptual renderings for Portable Exhibits clients using AutoCAD and Autodesk VIZ. Direct interaction contact with client and sales reps. from the concept stage to finished construction. Created production graphics with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (1992 to 1995)

Lazarus Department Stores, Federated - Cincinnati, OH

Industrial Designer, In support of Corporate Visual Merchandising and Store Planning functions for all divisions of Federated Department Stores. Designed and developed a wide range of store fixtures. Created various design development drawings for new store departments and in-store renovations. Responsible all final concept renderings and production drawings for outsourced fixture fabrication, established in house costs and budget requirements. Oversaw prototype construction and finalized production details of finished fixtures. Directed design development with vendors concerning production methods, finishes, materials and store shipping allotments/ rollouts. (1989 to 1992)
