Quality Assurance testing of a client/server based application called Contentverse. Contentverse is a document management application that makes your documents accessible from anywhere in the world. Documents added to the system are searchable based on data associated with the document as well as the text on any page added to the system. In addition everything in the system is audited thus allowing administrators to know anything that is done in the system.

Responsibilities :

1.Testing of multiple databases using a Desktop client that connects to a server in a Windows 10 environment. The databases were hosted in SQL Server 2014 and SQL Server 2012.

2.Testing of multiple databases in a Windows 8.1 environment with databases hosted on SQL Server 2012 as well as SQL Server 2014.

3.Testing of a web based module which connects to an Apache Tomcat server.

4.Properly documented all test cases that were performed.

5. Worked closely with the development team in resolving all issues reported.

HP QTP/ UFT Training and Live project Nov ‘14- Feb ‘15

This project involved creating code using Descriptive Programming to enable implementation for any application. Combined the keyword and data driven framework to create a powerful Hybrid framework using HP UFT 12, VB Script and descriptive programming. Custom scripts have been written for the driver, resuable function library, error reporting and all other components.

Role : QA Tester

This web based project involved providing support for a conversion from a Learning management system being retired to a custom built LMS.

Responsibilities:

●Categorizing defect issues and reporting to the project teams

●Performed regression testing, functional testing and ad hoc testing

●Performed UAT and reported the bugs in Mantis.

●Wrote test cases and executed the same.

●Extensively performed browser compatibility testing on IE8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Windows 7, Mac operating systems.

●Created and executed Database Scenarios for validating data by running SQL queries and performing Database verifications.

This is a windows based application which maintains levels for re-order /overstock of items in inventory. It has different modules for shipments, maintaining items in inventory, customer database, supplier information, and historical log of all transactions.

Responsibilities:

●Involved in testing the new functionalities based on test cases and coordinated with development team in fixing the issues.

●Built SQL statements to prepare data for testing and verify test results using Microsoft Access.

●Implemented the functional and regression testing of software releases using manual testing.
