Network Administrator/Engineer
Duties: Through several contract assignments, I have been in charge of network migrations, refreshes, reimaging, and network security. I managed the reconnecting of the network infrastructure for the Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino. I managed the data transfer and rerouting of the networks for the hand off at Yosemite National Park. I have secured the network for the VA hospital in Fresno. I recently moved a physical/virtual network, with zero downtime, out of the path of the High Speed Rail. At these projects I used most of the tools I have learned over the years. From VMWare snapshot management and quick recovery, to PowerShell scripts to speed up security upgrades. At each location I walked into an existing environment and would have to find out where the problems were and fix them quickly.
