Description:Rural electrification work which involves tapping electricity from nearest 11 KV line and providing LT connections to consumers using distribution transformers. Work involves working in accordance with letter of award & technical specifications provided by NBPDCL. The project includes dealing with various local contractors & getting work done within specified time period. This project is divided in two sections: supply & erection. Material is supplied by company & erection is carried out by contractors

Professional Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in ‘TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION’, from National Power Training Institute (NPTI), PSTI, Bangalore,March 2014- August2014.

Underwent Training on HOT LINE MAINTENANCE using HOT STICK METHOD (HSM) for the voltage levels 11KV, 33KV, 66KV and 110KV in HOT LINE TRAINING CENTER, Bangalore.

During the training period I have visited many outdoor and indoor substations, electrical equipment manufacturing industries etc.

This project deals with how to maintain, structure and protection arrangement of traction substation
