Roles & Responsibility:

Working as a CA Analyst for memory Architecture, Marketing & Sales Team.

By doing the Technical Analysis with the competitor products and giving the valuable inputs and reports with respect to all technical aspects.

Firmware validation according to the various types of test plans like Regression testing, Performance Testing, Functional Testing (DVT), Stress Testing (CHAZ) etc.

Verifying builds to meet the required specification for NAND memory and Controller.

Perform Preliminary Debugging & Failure Analysis on Characterization/Design Validation Testing(DVT) failures in USB & SD product line

Capture/Analyze Logic Analyzer traces, USB protocol traces, Oscilloscope traces etc. to root cause / categorize the bugs in the System. And work with respective team (like Firmware, NAND Memory, Hardware, ASIC teams) to resolve the issues.

Responsible for doing the Failure analysis of the issues found (Front end & Back End) during the product Qualification, Following up with the Development Teams to get the issue closed.

Projects Undertaken:

Solid state drive:

Strong skill in testing & managing SAN & DAS storage devices using FC, SAS & SATA, PCIe. Knowledge of SSD technology, flash technology or storage interface protocols (SATA, SAS, PCIe).

Secure Digital Card:

Secure Digital (SD) & micro Secure Digital (uSD) are non-volatile memory card format. We used to Test this in cameras, digital camcorders, handheld computers, notebook, media players, mobile phones, GPS receivers, and video games.

USB Flash drive Testing:

A USB flash drive (UFD) consists of flash memory data storage device integrated with a Universal Serial Bus 1.1or 2.0 or 3.0 interfaces. USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable. The UFD is supported with all modern operating system. Testing USB devices with variable Operating System for Compatibility checking and back up, Secure Access Application. Measuring the Performance of USB device by using “Bench mark Tools”. Running User level test with the universal flash drive.

Mobile Test:

Performing the test on Windows, Android based Handsets for Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing. Design the test Navigation Map for the Mobiles. Design the Test cases for Mobiles, use different user acceptance test case to find out the bugs. Execution the different Test Cases and Scenarios (load testing signal receiving, network testing, mobile games testing, protocol testing, mobile software compatibility testing)

Competitive Analysis

Comparing SanDisk devices with Competitor devices by comparing its performances, Taking performance by using Test Matrix, Bench marking tools, X-ray analysis & decaping analysis, Analyze the positions of passive components, memory, controller & bond wire routings with SanDisk devices. Preparing the report which includes performance values, Tear Down, X-Section analysis results and realize to the Memory, Controller Architecture team. Working on backend analysis.

Platform Testing

Worked on performance validation and measured throughputs on different chipsets like Rock chip, Allwinner, QRD,MTK and Exynos-5, Validated different stress scenarios on different chipsets as a part of stability validation. Worked on validating functional features as a part of compatibility testing on QRD, MTK, Exynos-5 chipsets.
