Invented the first smart battery pack at Compaq. Established five-year strategic plans for functionally testing and de-bugging Compaq-manufactured PCBs. Created a proprietary flexible functional PCB board tester that became the company standard in Compaq manufacturing facilities worldwide. Directed a team in developing a three-server family in the shortest design cycle in company history.

Defined and administered diagnostic tests for high-volume manufacturing of reel-to-reel tape drives at Storage Technology Corporation. Authored and maintained test procedures for new products and automated systems test run-in.

Formed and supervised the sustaining engineering, quality, and engineering services teams. Executive-level responsibilities spanned operations, procurement, advanced radio design, regulatory compliance, worldwide agency certification, reliability, sustaining engineering, and documentation control. Developed, implemented, and institutionalized multiple procedures and products, including a corporate quality management process.

Built and led a team to develop five tablet computers and associated peripherals.
