Augmented the log-in script with a virus scanner that has proven more effective than the industry's leading AV solution
Enabled non-roaming applications such as Lotus Notes to operate for users no matter which workstation the users log into
Developed a custom application to deploy Windows patches to 40+ Windows servers
Created a custom tab in Word 2010 containing all the printing functions required by users all in one location. Features include printer selection, one button page 1 letterhead following pages plain paper printing of documents, print to pdf, print to fax and print to email
Developed and implemented a hybrid Windows user profiles combining the benefits of local user profiles (speed) and roaming user profiles (application settings follow the user to any PC)
Designed a custom VB application to act as a single pane of glass to automate 90% of repetitive administration tasks including reporting, taking performance metrics, SAN capacity, granting access to the company Wi-Fi, inventory and many more tasks.
Am the main resource for emergency response and recovery for situations such as power outages, a corrupt email server and server crashes and for the most difficult and complex of issues.
