Fully-integrated supplier of manufacturing and engineering services providing steel components and complex, high value-added assemblies for the construction, heavy truck and industrial sectors.

Process Liaison Engineer 2011-2016

Maintained a vast understanding of the laser, punch, spot weld, stamping, form, manual weld, robotic weld, pressure vessel weld, powder coat paint and post-paint assembly processes to assist all plant operations with reducing waste, producing quality products, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules on machines and equipment.

Weekly onsite meetings with Quality Engineers from Matcor, Deere-Hitachi and Caterpillar to address customer quality concerns which drove process improvement projects.

Implemented eight successful program launches (533 new parts). Maintained high levels of communication with customers and Matcor design and manufacturing teams during program launches and after supply chain establishment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Evaluated, and improved manufacturing methods implementing Lean processes. Two Kaizen events were completed per quarter, resulting more than $305,000 annual cost savings.

Developed and maintained standard work instructions, processes, and procedures based on customer needs, part metrics, and root cause analysis findings. Trained manufacturing floor on standard work instructions and processes.

Developed a Plan for Every Part based on safety and ergonomics, customer demand, part metrics, equipment utilization, and plant layout.
