ANALYSIS ON HEAT TRANSFER THROUGH POROUS PERLITE WITH VARYING PORE SIZE & MOISTURE CONTENT [Dec 2013 – May 2015]

To obtain the velocity and temperature distribution for dry and fully saturated solid matrix along its thickness where thermal conductivity is a function of saturation using MATLAB and ANSYS to determine the distributions along the thickness at different moisture content. The conservation equations of mass, momentum and energy for a fluid flowing is determined as the thermal conductivity of the material could be understood.

Project Experience

EVALUATION OF CONSERVATION OF A FLUID IN A POROUS MEDIUM [Jan 2014 – May 2014]

The conservation equations were modified and solved for a porous medium. The results were obtained using a MATLAB code that was written especially for the given case, which can be modified for different values of porosity and pressure loss.

COMPUTED A HVAC DESIGN FOR DEPARTMENT STORE Aug 2013 – Dec 2013]

The aim of the project was to improve the HVAC knowledge by designing an all-air cooling design for a particular location. Addition to that, I also have done cost estimation with the help of Cook Company, Missouri.
