History Quality Control Inspector / Quality Manager - February 2015 to Present
Responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional inspection of parts during various stages of manufacture including receiving inspection, in-process inspection, visual welding inspection, machine shop inspection and final blasting, painting and coating inspection. Additional specific inspection responsibilities also include magnetic particle and liquid penetrant examination, hardness testing and pressure / leak testing.
Duties also include maintenance of the companies Quality Manual and ISO 9001 certification, performing tool and equipment calibrations and issuing, tracking and closing-out of Corrective Action and Preventative Action reports.
Additional responsibilities also include the use of a Leica Laser Tracker precision measurement machine for inspections and machine shop leveling and alignment purposes.
Supervisory duties include management of all Quality operations and associated personnel, overseeing operations in the fabrication shop, supervising painting and coating operations, maintaining paint and fabrications shop inventories and supervising all export shipping box and crate building operations while maintaining IPPC certification for export shipping unit construction.

Responsibilities included performing supplier source inspections of mineral pyro processing equipment. Inspection disciplines included visual, dimensional, functional / run-tests, assembly inspection and visual weld inspection within the confines of applicable codes and standards.

Supervised customer inspections of completed components and assemblies providing assistance and advisory support so customer and supplier inspection personnel.
Responsibilities also included creating supplier Quality Control Documentation packages for outgoing orders including Inspection/Test Plans (ITP’s), Quality Assurance Instructions (QAI’s), inspection procedures and manufacturing specifications.
