Was asked to return to the Safety Coordinator position May 2013: Doing so I inherited an x – mod of 128, reduced to 108 in 2014, 82 by the end of 2015, right now it’s at 64 for 2016. Implemented a slip resistant shoe policy reduced slip, trip, and fall accidents dramatically. I Conduct Plant safety Inspection, safety training for new and old employees. Conduct safety meeting for all employees, supervisors and office staff, farm supervisors and farmworkers in Spanish and English. Enforcing existing policies and implementation of new safety and health procedures. Document, tracking, and maintain all safety and tailgate meetings records. Investigation of all incident with or without injuries. In 2016 we reached and all time high of 443 employee.

6/2010 – 5/2013: Pm supervisor did hands on training of all new employees. Certified to train forklift drivers and aerial platform operators. Trained machine operators on touch screen equipment: pasteurizer, laser sorter and weight pack and fillers. My goal was to reduced waste of product, materials and employee time. Supervised employees from all departments packaging, sorting, quality control, sanitation, and forklift drivers.

11/2009 – 6/2010: Started as the safety coordinator and focused my attention on all the open claims the company had. Was asked to be the PM supervisor when the position became vacant by the Plant Manager. Knowledge of the brake down, set up and operation of all the new equipment coming in was key to the move.
