Director and CISO

Managed the Data Center, Infrastructure (Network, Servers, and Cloud), and End User Services Support for over 2000 users.

Redesigned the entire support organization to provide proper segregation of duties, leading to 100% attainment of our system uptime requirements of 99.9% uptime across our application suite; an improvement YOY of over 20% and improved ticket management and closure rates by 60% YOY without increasing headcount.

Managed the transition from disparate network and MPLS networks and phones systems across our 26 practices and affiliates to a unified communications platform and VOIP solution with projected savings over $2.3 million dollars over the length of the contract.

Implemented Change Management Review Board which increased overall visibility between business and IT teams in addition to increasing uptime and reliability of systems

Improved Systems Availability over my tenure allowed us to achieve our first ever positive NPS score, a metric of customer satisfaction.

Customer Infrastructure Delivery Executive, (Stellaris Health Network) 2011-2014

Responsibilities include strategic, financial (65 million P&L) and tactical leadership for the infrastructure and applications for a 4-hospital system in lower Westchester County including the following services: Service Desk, Desktop Support, Desktop Engineering, Intel Server Support, Unix Support, Database Support, Data Center Management, Network Design and Support, Network Security, Disaster Recovery, Storage, Cloud Computing, Messaging, Application Support and Meditech(EMR) Delivery. Also managed a global team of 6 Managers and 50 SMEs, including mentoring and staff development

Realized cost savings initiative to reduce the cost of Goods and Services to the hospitals by $800K over the life of the contract without sacrificing service delivery.

Drove an increase in NPS by initiating and driving project to measure and improve core EMR resiliency and response.

Senior Manager Wintel Infrastructure Services, (CVS Caremark) 2008-2011

Primary responsibilities included strategic and tactical management of the CVS Wintel environment, comprised of over 1000 servers in support of 75,000 corporate and retail users, 7000 retail pharmacy sites, 27 clinics, 500 Minute Clinic locations. In addition, the role managed a global team of 3 Team Leads and over 40 FTEs in the support of CVS’s Intel and Network Security environments.

Led major effort to migrate Minute Clinic Data Center to Corporate Data Center, project was completed early and under budget with no disruption in service.

Led virtualization project to migrate more than half of the Intel Servers to VMWare ESX, reducing cooling hardware and power costs, improved build times by 50% and improving DR recovery time by 80%

Globalized the delivery of Intel Services allowing for follow the sun model along with migrating specific tasks to lower cost resources, cutting FTE expenses by 20%

Redesigned the entire Wintel support organization to allow for improved tactical and strategic management of our project and operational workloads, improving efficiency by over 20% and implemented a metrics driven delivery method.

CITIBANK, HEDGE FUND SERVICES 2006-2008

Assistant Vice President, Global Operations Domestic Team

Primary responsibilities included, strategic decision making on technology, tactical support of the infrastructure and management of the support and engineering team for the department.

Project Manager for critical infrastructure projects including upgrading cooling and power in the Boston Data Center, a global email migration from Lotus Notes to Exchange, and virtualization of domain controllers.

FIDELITY INVESTMENTS 2003-2006

Senior Systems Engineer

Primary responsibilities included incident and problem management for over 5000 production Intel Servers, maintenance, security administration, and project management for 500 servers.

Managed project and support for the most critical servers in the Fidelity Infrastructure responsible for the call routing to the main Fidelity Customer Call Center.
