DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Auditing the Assy Process As per the TS 16949 Procedures. Responsible for Assurance of Quality in in-house Manufacturing & Smooth Line flow without stoppage.

Conducting Daily Process/Product Audit, Layout Inspection, Dock Audit, Strip audit and taking corrective action when required and as per the plan. Responsible to reduced assembly line rejection (ALR) with help of 7QC tool approach. Analysis and inspection of Customer line Rejections by using QC Tools and taking corrective actions with discussion by concurrent Engineering. Continuous improvements on existing customer through Management changes.

Also deal with corrective actions related to supplier problems and make necessary inspection. Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions for CLR by Progress monitoring control charts.

Analysis of Customer line rejection & Warranty returns. Responsible for Receiving parts inspection and audit. Responsible for inspection & clearance of incoming material (150 items); in the 150 components categories to varies commodities like plastic injection molded, machined, cable assy,, pressure die casting, blanked & forgings.

Use of IQ instruments (General – Vernier caliper, Micrometer & Height Gauge. Special – Rockwell Hardness tester, Profile projector, Roundness tester, Tensometer.) During analysis and audit of components

Preparation of First off & last off for product settings. Standardizing the Inspection Layout for New Product and Drawing revisions after Agreement of Inspection with vendor.

Generating the Supplier Problem Quality Report (SPQR) for every non-conformance & validating the counter measure report for acceptance. I involved new product development for the Alternator of Bharat-Benz Daimler & Maruthisuzuki.

Rectifier diodes fail analysis.

Soldering unfilled Problem in Rectifier main diode Soldering. Rectifier and regulator coupling wrong assy.
