Design Project :
Power Transmission Design
Power Transmission Design is the compilation of my individual designs on each part of a power transmission system like shaft, bearing (ball and journal), belts (flat belt and V-belt),keys, gears, etc. During the design let me acquire basic knowledge on how to design power transmission.
Fluid Machinery Design
Fluid Machinery Design is the compilation of my individual design of dams, piping systems, hydro-power plant, water tank, etc. and acquire basic knowledge on fluid machineries.
Refrigeration Design
Refrigeration Literal meaning of refrigeration is the production of cold confinement relative to its surroundings. In this, temperature of the space under consideration is maintained at a temperature lower than the surrounding atmosphere.
Air Conditioning Design
This design analyze the HVAC systems, load calculations, design conditions, external heat gain, internal heat gain, ventilation, air change rate and solar heat gain
Steam Power Plant Design
Steam power plant is a power plant in which heat energy converted to electric power. Water is heated, turns into steam and spins the steam turbine which drives the electric generator. This power plant design is compose of different parts like economizer, condenser, super heater, boiler, deaerator and cooling tower.
Being a student of TIP with it’s orientation towards outcomes-based education, I have acquired and can demonstrate the following student acquired outcomes (knowledge, skills, and attitude) necessary to practice of the engineering profession.
Analyze complex problems, identify and define the engineering requirements appropriate for solutions
Use modern techniques, skills and booth of the engineering practice in complex computing activities
Understand profession, ethical, legal security, social issues and responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice
oSoftware: Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel,
oMachines: Welding machine, Drill press, Hydraulic press, Hydraulic lifter, Hydraulic jack, Acetylene
