EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Artisan Design-Artisan Cabinetry 10/2016 – 11/2016

Performed a three week temporary consulting service assignment while searching for a new full time employment position to review and analyze Artisan Design for the purpose of identifying the processes currently working well and what needs to be changed, modified and/or streamlined.

Dynamic Construction Services, Inc. (DCS) 10/2013 – 9/2016

Project – Procurement – Purchasing Manager – Developed and managed the Federal and State Government Procurement Department for DCS, an $8M per year annual sales General Contractor with In-house Electrical, Civil, Telecom & Tower Construction Divisions. My responsibilities included: Identifying, Qualifying and Submitting all Government, Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Project company bids-quotes working closely with the estimating team and the other in-house department division leads. Managed all purchasing, RFQ’s and contract related issues with our DCS superintendents, project managers & business development managers, provided vendor analysis-qualification, subcontractor review & selection, structuring of subcontracts and assisted with the QA/QC program requirements & implementation.

■ In addition, I also served as the Director of Procurement for Amerimark Utility Locating (co-owned by DCS).

JDL Consulting, Tampa, FL 12/2001 – 10/2013

Owner-Procurement-Purchasing -Sales/PM-Operations Leader – Developed and managed all aspects of this construction contracting, recruiting, staffing and consulting-sales groups in Tampa, FL. My responsibilities included all: Sales, Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics Control, Estimating and Project/Ops Mgmt activities for Government, Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Project Staffing and Outsourced Gov. Project Procurement where I accrued a total of $7.8M in Government Contract Awards during 2012 & 2013 for my developed Customers/Clients.

■ In addition, I also represented several Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Firms on a National Basis. I typically procured over $1M dollars in annual Contract Awards for my represented SUE Firms.

Skilled Trades Company, LLC., Nashville, TN 7/1998 – 11/2001

Owner-Purchasing-Procurement-Logistics/Sales/PM-Operations Leader – Lead all aspects of this commercial construction contracting, recruiting and staffing group in Nashville, TN. I started and ran this organization during my non-competition time frame after the sale of my 20% minority business interest in Skilled Services Corporation. When the three year non-competition agreement ended, I decided to move

my business interest back to Tampa, Florida where I had always maintained my home. Responsible for all: Sales, Procurement-Purchasing, Estimating and Project/Ops Mgmt. for Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Government Projects.

■ Established the company as a market leader with approx. 40% market share with general&sub-contractors, builders, developers, private owners, churches, government and general industry.

Skilled Services Corporation, Saint Petersburg, FL 6/1992 – 9/1997

President/Sales & Operations Leader – Developed and managed this commercial and industrial recruiting,

Staffing and contracting organization in Saint Petersburg, FL. Responsible for: (Multi-State/Multi-

Location) Sales and Operations Management that included all major Purchasing-Procurement-Logistic &

PM-Operational functions. I also managed the OSHA safety training and site safety inspections where we

maintained an average .84 workers compensation experience mod rate with our partially self insured WC

program. I sold out my 20% minority interest in September of 1997 and honored a three year Non-

Competition Agreement within a 200 mile radius of the office locations listed below.

■ Developed and managed eleven new branch office locations in Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Los Angeles and San Diego with combined annual sales exceeding $20 million.

Balsam America and G-T Sports 5/1989 – 4/1992

Operations/Procurement-Purchasing-Logistics Manager - Managed the installation of synthetic running track facilities throughout the United States, Mexico and Central America. Responsibilities included the management and oversight of our four in-house project managers, our five in-house installation crews, managed all subcontractors and provided all safety instruction/new hire orientations to all field employees. We operated as the general contractor for approximately 50% of these projects. I also traveled both nationally and internationally with our sales brokers and performed sales, procurement-purchasing-logistic technical roles.

■ Annual sales averaged $10 - $15 million

Paving Etc. by Hou-Tex, Inc. 10/1982 – 5/1989

President and Operations Manager – Managed a paving company in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities included the sales, purchasing-procurement and operations mgmt efforts to support the development of new and repaired concrete and asphalt parking areas and commercial driveways. Performed all safety training to employees where we operated this seven year period with “zero” lost time accidents. Clients consisted of Long John Silvers, Texaco, Trammel Crow and University Savings and Loan. I sold this business when I decided to accept the position of Operations Manager with Balsam America.

■ Annual sales were averaging $2.5 million

Crawford & Russell, Inc. 2/1980 – 9/1982

Quality Assurance Supervisor - Responsibilities included overseeing up to 25 contract inspectors, trouble shooting and managing the purchasing/procurement/logistics and inspection acceptance/rejection process of multi-million dollar fabricated, mechanical & electrical equipment packages. Most equipment design was performed by Crawford & Russell with all fabrication done by outside vendors. These equipment packages were being installed in new chemical process and refinery plants by Shell Oil, Texaco, Exxon, Gulf and Shamrock Oil where I also performed onsite QA/QC services.
