Responsible for supervising in details the civil construction and site activities for a particular section of the Works or in the case of small projects for the whole of the Works.

Ensure that the Civil Contractor constructs the Civil and building works in line with the design and applicable specifications for the designated section of the Works.

Responsible for coordination between civil works and building services installation including LSP, HVAC, Fire-fighting, cranes and plumbing works.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly site progress reports. Responsible for arranging the required method statements, TRA and PTW well in advance to avoid delays during constructions.

Attend regular site meetings with subcontractor(s) to ensure availability of required material and resources.

Responsible for keeping CSM/PM informed about program and actual construction status on site. Responsible for implementing QA System established on the site.

Ensure use of current drawings only and file superseded drawings. Provide Red-Marked drawings signed by O/E and issue to CSM/PM. Obtain and review Subcontractor method statements and risk assessments.

Notify the CSM/PM of potential deviations from the specifications / contract. (Support in Claim Management)

Record, register and maintain all field changes for easy reference. Maintain the records of actual progress with respect to agreed programs with O/E and with Subcontractors and initiate actions to mitigate delays.

Maintain records and reasons for delays during construction stage. Ensure full Civil, HVAC, Fire-fighting Subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.

Arrange and Control issuance of the PTW daily for the site activities to ensure continuity of the site progress.

Arrange the RFI to be submitted well in advance and join the inspection with the client engineer to ensure approval of the RFI. Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.

Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
