Led the development and implementation of a new corporate wide One Billing system. Verizon Wireless maintained three logically separate systems. Purpose of this project was to centralize the storage of all MDNs, (Mobil Directory Numbers) providing for an improved customer service experience. Project was developed on the mainframe with an intranet front end. Coordinated project throughout diverse business units including external vendors. Performed Data Analysis on existing system. Supervised and coordinated work of programmers. Managed quality assurance testing to insure zero defects were achieved.
Led the development and implementation of a new corporate wide Mobil Telephone Number Inventory system. Directed a team responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of a new Universal Link system. System allowed Merrill to integrate its family of products to better service its clients. Provided technical leadership and assistance to more junior members of project team. Project included requirements collection, development of batch programs, systems testing, and budgeting.
Analysis, design, and development of the client finances portion of a new Intranet based Financial Consultant support system. This allowed FC’s (Financial Consultants) to easily perform new and complex analysis on a client’s portfolio. Included requirements collection, compliance approvals, prototyping requirements, designing web page mockups, obtaining user feedback, requirements documentation, data modeling and sourcing, and assisting programmers in the development of the programs required.
Led a team to analyze, design, development, and implement a new asset based pricing alternative product. Developed new DB2 tables, CICS transactions, and batch programs as well as the hiring, supervising, and coordinating the work of junior programmers and consultants. This product surpassed the $5 billion mark in assets under management.
Implemented ISA fund bank closings when warranted. This included the movement of millions of dollars of fund money between securities in order to guarantee FDIC insurance. Ensured that closings met all business and legal requirements.
