Logistics Manager / Field Service Engineer (2011 to 2016)

Provided on-site technical guidance, management, training, engineering collaboration and contractor supervision/support for safe maintenance, repair and operation of aircraft, including systems, tools, equipment and facilities, in conformance with customer and company policies, procedures and standards. Analyzed current issues and future requirements, designed and produced effective instructional materials and programs, and continually identified and implemented process/performance improvements. Generated detailed project documentation, and ensured peak quality and strict regulatory compliance.

Successfully headed a major collaboration between General Electric, LM and the USAF to execute a service bulletin retrofit on 16 F138 engines. Site Lead/Engineering Lead, C-5 Modernization Program, LOCKHEED MARTIN (LM), continued:

Collaborated with LM Aeronautics and Greenville PMO personnel on development of a comprehensive modification process for aircraft modifications which became the benchmark production template to be applied to projects enterprise-wide.

Achieved a stellar record of zero Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) corrective actions resulting from annual audits of the program.

Lowered production time by 1,000 hours while significantly improving quality by implementing numerous process improvements and through sweeping revisions to technical workbooks.

Delivered a significant increase in production output and a 30% cut in overtime by developing and implementing an on the job aircraft systems training program for all base technicians to facilitate the functional testing processes, based on the latest in engineering and modification procedures.
