WORK EXPERIENCE

2006_2009 I was an apprentice at sandvik mining and construction Zambia studying to be a millwright at colliery training college in Mpumalanga SouithAfrica

2009_2011 worked as a field service technician for sandvik Zambia carrying out maintenance on a wide range underground and surface mining and construction equipment which included loaders,drill rigs,dump trucks,crushers and conveyors .

2010-2013 worked as maintenance supervisor anglo American platinum union mine project for sandvik south Africa Rustenburg branch,I was in charge of maintaining a fleet of 3 low profile roof bolters [DS210],3 low profile face rigs [DD210],5 high profile underground front end loaders [TORO410] which were highly productive and earned me an award for outstanding performance on the 150 years sandvik anniversary in 2012. During my time at union mine I was sometimes acting in the maintenance manager role from time to time.

2014-worked as a LHD specialist for Capital Development Services a division of Anglo American Platinum at Twickenham mine in Limpopo, I had the the responsibility of maintaining their high profile underground front end loaders from atlas copco ST1030, my duties included doing hourly based services,component changes,fault findind on hydraulics,mechanical and engine faults, component overhauls e.g. hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps, engines

-Iam highly skilled in doing breakdowns (fault finding) and maintenance on equipment, mechanical operations and systems, and component and engine overhaul on underground and surface mining and construction equipment.

-attending breakdowns on different sites

-teaching and coaching the customer how to do maintenance safely and correctly to ensure maximum machine utilization sustainably at minimum costs.

-doing on site mini and full machine rebuilds

-doing machine audits and planning for major component changes

-processing warranty claims and investigating causes of failure of components
