Duties include both internal and external projects. Internal projects include failure analysis and resolution of mechanical, structural and electrical failures as well as efficiency and throughput improvements. External Projects focus primarily on diversification and factory expansion.

Director of Operations/Chief Electrical Engineer, Cajun Sugar Cooperative, New Iberia, LA 2011-2015

As Director of Operations my responsibilities include creating and maintaining the company’s yearly operational budget, approving capital expenditures, oversight of contract construction projects, creating and maintaining required DEQ documentation, determination of employee work schedules and overall organizational structure. Responsible for safety and all OSHA requirements. As Chief Electrical Engineer I am responsible for the Electrical and Instrumentation Departments. Duties include programming of the companies Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and all factory automation and interviewing, hiring, and training associates and planning, assigning and directing work. I am also responsible for the plant power distribution and generation. The plant generates approximately fifty percent of its own power through two 1 megawatt steam powered generators.

I started my consulting business in 2001. Since then I have provided engineering and certification services to several aviation companies throughout the US. I have handled repair and alteration projects for Chevron USA, Exxon, Bristow, Airlogistics, Bell Helicopter, and several other companies. I was also heavily involved in several emergency flotation installation approvals for Apical Industries. I also have a great deal of experience in EMS completions including several projects for Air Evac Lifeteam, Metro Aviation, PHI, Rodgers Helicopters and others. I was the head engineer on several VIP interior installations in Sikorsky S-92’s including interiors for United Technologies, Turkish National Police, and The president of Turkmenistan.

Responsible for all aspects of engineering and certification including drafting, applications, certification plans, draft RFC’s and TIA’s. Responsible for Arrow Aviation’s manufacturing division, Helifab Inc., and its PMA procedures and manufacturing approvals.

Responsibilities include management of the overall engineering design process as applied to aircraft design modifications including the preparation of cost estimates.
