Fieldwork San Francisco is a market research company located in the financial district of San Francisco. We provide recruiting and a spacious facility for a wide range of companies, such as Google and Starbucks, to execute their focus groups. My duties include, acting as a receptionist answering and directing all calls, questions and concerns while rectifying any unexpected changes and/or problems while handling any direct correspondence with our high end clientele. I am responsible for making sure everyone entering our facility is greeted with a warm welcome and ensuring both our clients and participants feel at home making sure all of their needs are met (this can include gathering any and all necessary materials, coordinating driver services, food pick up, plating etc.) upon arrival. I also act as a host facilitating a flawless set up, execution, and conclusion of each focus group (this can include anything from instructing respondents/ clients, directing respondents/ clients, funding and handing out incentives, moving in and out furniture, setting up appliances and technology, and monitoring any respondent/ last minute client needs or requests etc.) I oversee recording and exporting of each and every client’s session(s). At the end of each day I execute nightly procedures, including re-setting and flipping the facility for the following day and weeks ahead. Before closing shop I am also responsible for all closing paperwork and daily reports.
