KEY PROJECTS
Selection of Six Sigma projects using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)
The focus of the project was to evaluate, compare and select the best between different six sigma projects based on numerous criteria
We have used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) as a tool for the selection of six sigma projects within an organization.
For research purpose five different six sigma projects were taken into consideration with different Decision Making Units (DMU) to evaluate the performance of each six sigma projects.
By comparing and evaluating the performance based on different criteria, we found out two s ix sigma project had unity showing the 100 percent performance than other three projects.
This resulted into the selection of better six sigma projects and to make some changes and add value to other projects lacking in performance
Improve the sales demand of Retail Company (Project Management)
Implemented all the project management knowledge areas to successfully complete the project
Planned and managed the project to improve the sales in given budget and time frame
Utilized the project budget of $1 Million and showed the detail utilization of the given budget in distribution, centralization of the channel, etc.
Improve the Quality of Polyethylene Plastic Production
Studied the DMAIC methodology to identify the defects in assembly line
Reviewed the existing process of injection molding and identified the problems using root cause analysis (Fish-bone Diagram)
Analyzed the data using Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tools like cause and effect diagram, Pareto chart, etc.
Obtained the solution of the defects and determined the process capability after implementation of the new quality measurements
Resulted in improve of overall six sigma level from 1.93 to 4.08 EDUCATION
Master of Science in Engineering Management, University of Houston Clear Lake May 2016 Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Gujarat Technological University, India May 2013
