Worked as a project trainee in centum electronics from July 2013 to august 2014. Internship in Robert BOSCH

Academic projects

PG project: Project on “Detection of foreign bodies in food items using hyper spectral camera and removal of defected items in real time” which included 2 major blocks 1. Defect detection block – which has image acquisition, pre-processing stage, training algorithm and testing algorithm along with design of PWM driver for LED and designing PCB for the same, which is main source for detection of contaminants using fluorescence effect. For the detection of contaminants ANN (FF-BP algorithm) is used for effective classification of contaminated and uncontaminated food items.

2. Ejection block – Here ejector is programmed using PLC for synchronising and ejection mechanism in real time using STM32 board.

Tools used: MATLAB, OrCAD, kiel, STM 32 board, Omron software, Omron PLC.

UG project: Implementation of Power Gating technique for the leakage minimization in sub- micron CMOS region. Here we used high threshold sleep transistor insertion technique to reduce stand-by leakage power in combinational and sequential circuit. Tools used: Cadence.

Projects on interest

Underground water level monitoring system and automatic control of motor under the guidance of Senior Scientist Dr.N.R.Prasad KSSRD Bangalore. Here we used level detectors and automatic turning of motor when the water level goes below the motor level. Personal Data:

Design and Development of Multiple Valued Logic (MVL) Based Combinational Building Blocks for power reduction in combinational circuits.

Worked on topography and designed the module for the eye for the detection of curvature of cornea on eye included 3D modelling.

Worked on the fundus imaging, designed fundus camera with optic lenses of different focal lengths, beam splitters and polarizer working for both hyper spectral camera and mobile camera works for both IR and visible light.

Worked on coded aperture, Designed MURA, PIN hole and Cosine masks which are used in fundus camera for the detection of depth in eye.

Worked on the meibomian imaging and pupillometry for design of hard ware model for capturing the images for detection of dry eye and detection of size of pupil in eye.

Mini projects:

o Project on “Extracting a good quality frontal face image from a low resolution video sequence”. This makes use of MATLAB and main aim is to bridging the gap between facial analysis systems and surveillance cameras using Super Resolution algorithm which involved RBSR and LBSR for increasing the efficiency of the system. o Two wheels Balancing Robot using ARM. This makes use of PID controller algorithm to balance the motor which is the same principle as that of rocket launching. o Design of full adder and counter using reversible logic, Reversible logic is a design for low power and high speed.

o Line following robot tracing the black line, in a work shop conducted by evobi. o Range correlator using Verilog which is implemented in a 65nm node technology for the ultra-wide band Radars.
