WORK EXPERIENCE

QA Automation Engineer at IGN Entertainment, San Francisco, CA Feb 16 – Present

Test Automation Framework: Created test framework for IGN web application from scratch. Used Java, Selenium WebDriver,TestNG,Junit. Utilized Page Object Model (POM) for writing the framework. Enhancing the framework as necessary while writing tests.

Automated Test cases and test monitoring: Writing suite of tests for IGN website for features like trailers, ratings and reviews for games, Movies and TV Series. Use of Jenkins to monitor executions of builds.

REST API Automation: Writing REST APIs detailed test plan and automated client based REST API test cases for application, using Jersey Client. Testing the response requests, execution of test suites in CI.

Test Case Management: Using QA Symphony to manage manual test plans and test cases. Before it used to be tracked in Excel sheets. We also use QA Symphony to track reports of out test builds in Jenkins.

Software QA Engineer at Acesse Corporation, Redwood City, CA June 14 – Feb 16

• Test Plan and Test Cases Creation: Created complete test plan, test strategy and test cases for Acesse University; a web application integrated with Rosetta stone and it is focused on educating customers using videos and presentations. Also completed the test cases execution, regression testing for this web application.

• Testing of YouChat Mobile Application: Worked on End-to-End testing of YouChat mobile application. It is a peer-to-peer chatting application. Executed Test cases on IOS, Android mobile devices and debugged log files.

• Automated Testing (Selenium WebDriver): Wrote automated test cases for Acesse Marketing web application. Utilized Selenium WebDriver with Java to automate test cases. Established selenium-grid for CI.

Scrum Processes and Defect resolution: Worked as an integral part of a scrum team, which follows agile methodologies for software development. I file defects in Jira and work closely with developers to reproduce them and get them fixed. Also provide a report on testing progress to PMs and QA manager.

Sales Tax Application: Performed Manual Testing of the data that I uploaded on a Web-Application. We bought a software from a Vendor and I performed Testing on Tax-Reports and Tax-Audits for our clients. Documented test results and corrected information in application accordingly.
