Project Technician IV

Processes materials orders and creates work orders or requisitions.

Tracks and updates materials schedules, expedites as required to prevent schedule slippage, and advises Materials Manager of deviations from materials plans and forecasts

Prepares, reviews, and monitors operating budgets and contract payment in CMS

Perform database management (IMS Software Access)

Support in-sourcing and out-sourcing strategies

Perform INDEX Function in Excel in order to allocate a specific value in cost repair to justify contractor payment given data on labors and materials used

Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors

Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers

Assist in managing multiple contracts to ensure contractors are in compliance with terms and conditions listed on contracts.

Assist in coordinating work activities to resolve wastewater issues and to expedite project completion to meet contractual time-frame.
