I am looking for a position in which I can use my past experience in the construction industry to move forward in my career.

I have been employed in the construction industry for over 30 years. I started as a helper and rose to journeyman, foreman, and general foreman in the “industrial” construction field. (boilermaker, pipefitter, and ironworker) I have been employed as a carpenter, foreman, superintendent, and estimator in the “commercial” construction field.

I started with this company as a carpenter, installing metal stud framing, sheetrock, and acoustical lay-in ceilings. I advanced to the position of foreman, and then superintendent, running various projects throughout Southeast Texas. When the estimator decided to retire, in 2009, I took over his responsibilities in the office, including estimating jobs, time keeping scheduling, and billing.

I then moved to their new construction division, and worked at different locations as an iron worker, iron worker foreman, and iron worker general foreman, throughout the southeastern United States. EDUCATION

I graduated high school in Collinsville, Illinois in 1977. With the exception of computer operating training in the military, and a locksmith correspondence course, I have no other formal education.
