MCI is the largest telecommunications company in the Middle East with over 40 million subscribers. I was hired to help business analysis and project lead the start up the new telesales channel, to drive new revenue and enhance the customer experience. Reporting to the e-Sales Director, I managed a sales team of five direct reports, plus forty telesales reps at three outsourced partners.

Main responsibilities:

• Defines and documents customer business functions and processes

• Preparing the business plan, model & case for the launch of MCI Telesales

• Defining project scope and plan

• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project

• Requirements identification & analysis

• Designing & improving all the sales processes based on eTOM.

• Defining & managing the integrated system for processes and managing the project as a product owner

• Preparing sales campaigns and scripting based on customers’ needs, product positioning and company targets

• Project managing & implementing a specific dynamic text channel for telesales customers (8018).

• Analyzing the deployed system, customers’ requests & vendor requirements for improvement processes

• Monitoring the progress of the project and making adjustments to ensure the successful completion of the project

• Participates in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing. Main achievements:

• Established the direct channel to sell MCI products without third-party dealers

• Extended all the telesales services throughout the country in less than 6 months

• Achieved high customer satisfaction by providing on-time delivery, customer options, and trained telesales reps

• Reduced delivery time from six days to three days

• Reduced sim-card activation time from three days to one day

• Reduced ticket (complaints) response time by four days

• Increased sales by 500% in three months
