Multimedia compression
The multimedia compression is about reducing the data size, storage space, storage cost and the time to retrieve and transmit data over communication channels and computer networks. Multimedia compression dramatically increases the bandwidth utilization, in multimedia systems, allowing the transmission of images and video streams. In this project we have investigated, the commonly used, compression techniques from a scientific and historical engineering point of view to emphasis a comparative study in the file. The aim of this project is to present an investigation of data compression methods to achieve multimedia compression. This includes programming and implementation of the algorithms that proposed for the methods individually, to achieve multimedia data compression systems by combining the (text, image, video and audio) algorithms in a unified data compression package. Visual Basic Programming language was used to implement the programming. Training Courses
