Report directly to the Operations Manager.

Properly load and unload freight using a pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.

Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.

Responsible for accurately recording the condition of freight as it arrives at the terminal.

Other responsibilities include: Performing routine maintenance during down time, safely and neatly maintaining storage areas, entry and exit points, and all high traffic avenues of the facilities to allow for unobstructed safe passage.

Professionally and courteously assist all drivers as they enter the terminal for material pick-up or returns.

Forklift Operator/Dockworker: April 2004 – Dec 2013, Saia Motor Freight, Houston, TX

Responsibilities included: Using forklift to pull orders, working in the receiving and shipping department, picking, packing, and scanning orders using a palletizer and doing inventory.
