OPTICIAN / TECHNICIAN; BENNETT OPTOMETRY 2002 TO 2016 Working in tandem with the optometrists, I was responsible for pretesting of patients while maintaining patient flow. Responsibilities also included fitting ophthalmic lenses (single vision and progressive) in frames in addition to optical sales; frame and supply purchasing where I was heavily sought after for my knowledge of emerging trends; and controlling the flow of orders going to and from labs. I was also relied upon for thorough training of new employees in the various procedural details that were required of them. I attended Vision Expo West in 2009 and 2010 as a purchasing optician. I was responsible for optical sales and fitting of ophthalmic lenses in frames. I worked primarily by myself while employed in this position. This was a walk-in office only - we didn’t make appointments. To encourage this, I was credited with designing the window displays and organizing trunk shows.

• Trained in NCT testing; Retinal Photography; Visual Fields, stereo and color vision testing.

• Proficient in Revolution EHR software, Microsoft Office Suite as well as use of the Essilor Visioffice instrument and software
