Role: QA Analyst

Project Description: This application provides a decision engine for claim pricing and specific business rules to implement Multiple Procedure Payment Reduction (MPPR) policy. MPPR policy involves a reduction of the allowed amount when multiple units of service are rendered by the same provider or provider group on the same date of service. MPPR affects the Radiology, Therapy, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Ambulance service categories. This existing application has implemented all the business rules in Mainframe and Database. Dell has initiated to develop a Claim decision engine (CDE) to extract all the business rules from Mainframe and Database applications and implement those business rules into a separate application using business rule management system (BRMS).

Responsibilities:

Understanding business requirements, creating test plans, test scenarios and test scripts, writing test evaluation criteria for various modules, based on specifications.

Attending Application walk-through and Requirements reviews to understand the scope of the project.

Used Selenium IDE for Open source web testing and selenium RC to write scripts in java

Project Description: This project required testing of newly introduced SFTP and Swift FileAct channels for the processing of payroll and payment files involving multiple interfaces including Wage Protection System (WPS) which is a system developed by the Central Bank of the UAE to allow the Ministry of Labor to create a database that records wage payments in the private sector to guarantee the timely and full payment of agreed-upon wages, Temenos T24, UAE Fund Transfer Systems (FTS) for all interbank local transfers denominated in AED within UAE, SWIFT File Act which allows secure and reliable transfer of files and is typically used to exchange batches of structured financial messages.
