I was in charge of the organization’s intranet, Yahrzeit program, the JWV and Museum websites.

Successfully made all sections of the intranet work properly (Convention, Membership, Committees, Compliance…) and added more of them (trip, point of contact).

Successfully made the online Yahrzeit program work as intended on the public and management side, which resulted in the organization applying for a patent of this program. This program allows people to register their deceased loved ones to display them online at both their Gregorian and Hebrew anniversary.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

SQL DATABASE and SQL CODING (10 years of experience):

Rebuilt and expanded 2 SQL Databases for intranet and Yahrzeit websites to restore proper table relationships, make them more flexible for future use, for new Crystal Reports and for easiness of maintenance. Created new tables, views, Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions in the process.

Wrote numerous complex SQL queries and Scripts to retrieve data from membership and contributions Databases and create reports.

Created Databases, Tables, Temporary Tables, Indexes, Views, Sequences, Database Links with Scripts.

Created Comma-Delimited and Position-Delimited files with Scripts.

Wrote SQL statements embedded in code to create runtime queries or used as string variables in functions for ACCESS Databases.

Creating queries in SQL view for ACCESS Databases.

Using SQL statements in forms properties (Record Source) in ACCESS Database.

.NET Technologies (5 years of experience):

Created various projects from dashboards and data summary pages assembling data from various databases and servers, pages with scheduling tasks and regular web pages. I used mostly C#, but also VB.NET along with ASP. Also used HTML5, CSS, JavaScript combined with .NET technologies.

DREAMWEAVER (4 years of experience):

Creating web pages that include forms, tables, layouts, CSS, rollovers, behaviors and display data from SQL Databases coding with JavaScript, ColdFusion, CFScript and HTML.

COLDFUSION 6 – 8 (6 years of experience):

Using ColdFusion embedded with HTML and CF tags to modify and complete a Yahrzeit website and an intranet, from where to retrieve data into SQL Databases from users and displaying data from the database. Created pages, forms, templates passing data to each other from form to form or through the URL. Used CFScript, functions, user’s functions among other features. The yahrzeit website displays people’s death Anniversary according to the Gregorian and Hebrew calendar with a management side to keep track of people, their sponsors and survivors. The intranet’s use is to keep records of membership, convention and trips participations along with departments, councils and posts, all entities of the organization.

JAVASCRIPT (2 years of experience):

Using it embedded in Web pages along with ColdFusion and .NET.

CRYSTAL REPORT (4 years of experience):

Built numerous Crystal Reports using Groups, Sorting, Formulas, Parameters, Totals, Functions and Sub Reports for reporting about membership and annual convention including hotel reservations, meals, events, meetings, and payments to also report about annual trip including enrollment, activities, payments and membership.

HTML(10 years of experience):

Involved in the development and maintenance of Websites requiring embedding of pictures, creation of hyperlinks, tags, frames, tables, forms, positioning and image maps in Dreamweaver environment.

XSLT (1 year experience):

Used XSLT to create web pages from XML files. I did about 20 web pages this way.

XML(1 year of experience)::

Composed well-formed XML documents from various data sets using namespaces.

Created DTDs and XML Schemas and built XML documents that can be validated against them.

Used DOM, SAX and MSXML parsers and JavaScript to process XML documents.

Used XSLT and Xpath to transform XML documents into alternate structures better suited to the needs of a particular application.
