. Resolved inability to do backups within the data center by correcting configurations in the Nexus switch.
. Corrected QoS settings in the MPLS network. Made a measurable improvement in performance at all Locations.
. Implemented Cisco WAAS accelerators, diagnosed issues caused by compression on custom programs.
. Implemented SolarWinds orion, for Network Performance, Netflow, Address management, Syslog, Configuration Management.
. Upgraded MPLS circuits in multiple sites and implemented BGP WAN routing and OSPF LAN routing.

. Rolled out Cisco ASA next generation firewall with malware protection and web filtering.
. Reduced Priority 1 tickets caused by network issues from multiple per week to less than 1 per month.
. Configured routing in Disaster Recovery office to Protect the data Center. This successfully occurred when the Primary MPLS cable was cut close to the main data center. The successful failover saved a Days production in 5 factories and night production in at least 6 others.
. Did NAT, VPN, Certificates, Anyconnect, licensing on Cisco ASAs
. Upgraded Routers to ASR 1001-X level, added netflow, SNMP, TACACs, added new/upgraded circuits. Did traffic analysis to determine when new circuits were needed.
. Nexus - added VLANs, Port Channels, FEX modules. Corrected Configuration errors that severely limited throughput.
. Layer 3 switches added VLANs with appropriate access lists for customer equipment.
. Worked with customers to capture packets and do Wireshark analysis on new and existing services.
. Used Sourcefire to identify malware infected computers
. Policy based routing to separate customers who had overlapping address space.
. Policy based routing to optimize internet connectivity in China office.
. Brought Visio drawings up to date.
