Developed and implemented an interface to the consumer profile hub for Membership. This implementation touched front end, core and backend processing for Membership. Utilized MQ technology for calling across different platforms.

Placed at Highmark. Main duties are analysis and development for the Legacy Claim Modernization Project. Worked on Field Centralization and Standardization designing and creating BlueDevel modules. Separated programs to functional components of Business rules and Physical DB access. I performed analysis, debugging and resolving defects for system testing. Created an automated Subx control card module that made the group more proficient in creating reusable test cases that was invaluable during FCT testing. These are COBOL/COBOL II Batch and CICS applications interacting with IMS/DB2 and BlueDevel components in an IBM 3090 MVS/XA, TSO/ISPF Endevor environment.

Placed at Fisher Scientific. Working in Data Warehouse group on various projects that extract data from mainframe, ftp to Unix and run PL/SQL to load Oracle Data Warehouse tables.

Placed at Highmark. Main duties were analysis, support and implementation of enhancements to existing legacy systems. Worked with users to enhance Drugmed systems to accept and process Unique Member ID. Needed to be implemented quickly due to privacy laws and with no impact to the users. Developed a screen other programmers could use for testing called system modules that was used to make the testing for the UMI enhancements smoother companywide for all systems. This was not part of the project scope but I saw a need for the screen and developed it on my own time. Placed at Eckerd Drugs. IMS to DB2 conversion. Main duties were analysis, support of converted modules from IMS to DB2. Created an implementation plan, which split up systems, database tables and modules to ensure a seamless conversion to users. Preformed analysis, coding, testing and support for converted modules. Customized and implemented a Direct Billing System utilizing Billing and Collection Management System software (BCMS).

Designed and implemented an automated procedure for deleting erroneous transactions which eliminated programmer intervention during nightly batch cycle.

Designed a system, which provided clients with an automated method to enter changes to table data previously hardcoded.

Instituted a new method for performing analysis on companywide projects. Involved defining and labeling all the inputs, outputs, and processing requirements during the analysis stage. Resulted in more effective testing, eliminated re-work based on poor communication and ensured good time management on projects.
