RESPONSIBILITIES :

Administer DB2 subsystems in Production, Perf, UAT, SIT and Development for both DPF and non-DPF environments

Oncall support (24 * 7) – Primary and Secondary

Create Database, instance, tablespace

Create Tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures in dpf/non-dpf

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Administer DB2 subsystems in Production, Pre-Prod, Quality, Development, Sandbox and TechSandbox

Oncall support – Primary and Secondary

Create Database, instance, tablespace

Review and carry out DB2 full backup (online/offline), volume group backup, archive log backup using native DB2 commands/NETBACKUP/TIMEFINDER.

Monitoring the tablespace utilization and preparing reports, increase maxsize.

Estimate tablespace savings and schedule/execute OTMs to recover space when needed.

Vendor interface and problem solving using IBM PMR and SAP OSS Message.
