Automated Crow Counting Using Image Processing [April 2016 - August 2016]

• Developed automated image processing algorithm in a group of four people using Matlab to segment and count the crows in images and achieved 80% accuracy rate.

• Implemented histogram-based segmentation, edge detection, region-growing method, and watershed transformation.

• Created the C/C++ code to program the Arduino to display and adjust the current time on a LCD screen.
