CAREER SUMMARY
For the past six years, I have been helping patients achieve their goals of increasing independence and improving quality of life skills. This has been primarily with adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with some time working in pediatrics. Prior to becoming a COTA, my career was in retail management. The skills I learned in management, primarily motivating people, team building, and problem solving, have become an invaluable asset to me in my new career. I am a goal oriented achiever with a passion for helping others improve themselves in any way possible. I believe that I have become a very competent therapist while maintaining my ability to be a team player and helping others, team members as well as patients, achieve their goals.
