Project Control Specialist – Subsea Landing String (2000 - 2015)

Managed / coordinated the development of Subsea Landing String (SLS) equipment throughout its engineering, manufacturing, and quality process. This high pressure safety equipment is deployed within the landing string of major projects in the Gulf of Mexico, India, West Africa, North Sea, and Austria. Due to availability and cost of Rigs, on-time delivery of equipment was achieved.

Implemented effective Risk Forecasting by capturing and planning for Risk Events and Risk Contingency. This initiative ensures that risks are appropriately taken into account during probabilistic forecasting.

Deployed Stakeholder Communication Management with tools such as Earned Value Analysis, Risk Analysis Status Reports, Summary Schedules, Milestone Schedules, and Monthly Status Presentations.

Instrumental in introducing a Project Control methodology within SLS and the Schlumberger community.

Project Coordinator - Exxon DIANA Project (1997 - 2000)

Developed and maintained a Primavera P3 Project Schedule for each phase of Saipem’s construction responsibilities, the Baseline Schedule contained over 3,000 activities. Saipem project tasks consisted of; Installation of Topside Platform, Setting the Drilling Rig, Laying Flowline, Cargo Barge activities, and tasks pertaining to its lift vessel the Saipem S-700.

Monitored and controlled the Project through interaction with both the Saipem Topside Project Manager and Saipem Flowline Project Manager. Updated the Project by receiving daily offshore progress reports and periodically flying out to the lift vessel, the Saipem S-7000. Interfacing with the Offshore Team contributed to improved project status reliability and the Offshore Team’s appreciation for schedule management.

Programmed and captured into the active Project Schedule, all progress and downtime initiated during this weather sensitive Project. Barge and vessel traffic dictated that the Project Schedule be updated daily, this effort contributed to accurate project information for enhanced decision making by the Project Team.
