Hold requirements consultation with representatives to determine network and technical needs, followed by an audit of existing network and infrastructure. Formulate a plan of action based on audit findings, including product demonstration and proof of construct.
Provide subject matter expertise in optics and Ethernet data for smaller accounts, serving as a leader to create go-to experts within account companies.
Consult with clients subsequent to product deployment to evaluate the operating performance of new resources, effectively closing sales after addressing technical issues and concerns from customer. CAREER & PROJECT HISTORY
SALES ENGINEER Fujitsu Network Communications – Richardson, TX 2011 – 2016 Joined this company’s sales team to create and close various strategic sales for small to large businesses. Brokered the sale of Ethernet and Optical networking solutions, and a variety of network support services.
Maintained and grew relationships with high-value accounts including Verizon, AT&T, and CenturyLink, generating upwards of $100M per year in combined revenue from these accounts through strategic sales and support.

$35M Cell Site Internet Backhaul for Verizon Wireless
Actively supporting the sale of services geared toward the upgrade of 600 cell sites in 2015, with potential for several thousand upgrades in 2016.
Demonstrate holistic business awareness to facilitate the needs of this multi-regional business account, consulting with representatives in each region across the US to formulate region-specific network designs. Ensure the final network product is uniform across the US, despite regional differences. SYSTEMS ENGINEER Cisco Systems – Richardson, TX 2007 – 2010 Joined this company to leverage knowledge of Optical Transport and IT systems toward sales and account management for client AT&T, Cisco’s largest account.
Governed the Optical Transport and IT portfolio for AT&T’s 22-state region, building long-lasting and value based relationships with stakeholders in each region. Supported the continuous growth of this account worth ~$40M in annual revenue.

Secured approval for this project after presenting a compelling proof of concept for client Apple, leveraging a ROADM ring to be implemented in Charlotte area.
Successfully brokered a deal to run the new data center through AT&T’s service infrastructure, with ring devices and systems using Cisco’s products exclusively.
NETWORK ENGINEER Verizon – Irving, TX 2005 – 2007 Secured this role externally after success in earning formal education in systems and electrical engineering. Gained valuable experience in a central office role to manage budget, and perform technical analysis, research and investigation. Managed a capital and expense budget of $20M to meet district objectives.
Drove forward momentum of replacing copper network with a frontier fiber network within the Irving region, an FOA infrastructure. Drew upon history of education and natural investigative aptitude to formulate budget toward implementation of fiber networks.
