Well Site Geologist July 2012- January 2016

• 24hr on-site geological services for 1-5 drill rigs for rock sampling and monitoring gas detection equipment while drilling

• Worked with up to 10 crews on a daily basis in connection to services I provided

• Analyzed cuttings samples and compiled electronic geologic logs for horizontal and vertical wells

• Documented and analyzed gas data using a gas chromatograph and drilling mud trap

• Provided testing, feedback, and recommendations for changes to the programs used for gas detection and electronic geologic logs

• Generated daily reports cataloging the previous day's drilling depths, progress, and current natural gas levels, mud weights, rock formation drilling in

• Generated daily updates to the electronic geologic logs and sent out final logs after reaching the end of well

• Answered questions during daily morning teleconference calls about potential and active problems from drilling location, quality of rock drilling through and other related questions

• Responsible for providing information to the drill site supervisors about expected depths for rock formations and how they affect the drilling and gas reading levels, and possible complications from faults in the area

• Responsible for all maintenance to the gas traps, detectors, and other equipment used in the job across multiple generations of equipment

• Collected, documented, checked accuracy of plans provided from installers, and compiled data from fiber optics lines laid along 60 miles of I-70 from Golden to Eisenhower Tunnel for new GIS software

• Organized and cleaned-up computer servers for 24/7 traffic management and video feeds

• Built servers, racks and other equipment for test lab

• Conducted locates for fiber optic lines in the Denver/Golden/Pueblo area
