Review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process piping & instrument diagrams (PIDs) to identify/evaluate major hazards.
Prepare and scribe for HAZOP and HAZID via reviewing the relevant documents (e.g. PFDs, PIDs, process cause and effects, operating philosophy, process control narrative, process safeguarding report, etc.).
Detail or coarse Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) studies onshore.
Perform consequence analysis (fire, explosion, gas dispersion modeling, heat radiation studies and prepared fire zones hazard maps), hazard impact assessment reports and recommendations for safe design.
Perform Risk analysis (individual and societal risk). Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
