University of Mosul

-M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering, Oct. 2003- Feb. 2006.

The thesis title was “Riprap Gradation Effect on Local Scour around Bridge Piers”. Equivalent to a Canadian Master’s degree according to World Education Services.

-B.Sc. in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Oct. 1996- June 2000 (Hons). Equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor’s degree according to World Education Services.

Participated in evaluation juries of graduation projects.

Computing and information technology skills: I am computer literate and have experienced using scientific softwares including Storm (Nortek), Flowsizer V2.0.3.0 (TSI), Dynamic Studio V3.31 (Dantec), PIV Lab. and SPSS, Inkscape. A beginner user of ANSYS Fluent. I have knowledge in different programing languages, I manged to analyse my PhD thesis data and plot the required figures using Matlab extensively. Extensive experience of Microsoft Office, Excel (preparing construction tenders), PowerPoint, and Latex, I use Auto-CAD occasionally.

Synthesizing, and writing: I have used to write daily progression reports of the engineering projects. Writing regular progression reports to my PhD advisors, in which their collection ended with a successful PhD thesis.
