I was in charge of looking at an account to see if it needed to have a denial done for insurance not paying. If the account had a denial that clearly stated that we were out of time to process a denial, then I would call the insurance company to find out if there was anything else that can be done. I also made phone calls to the insurance companies to find out the status of the denial. When I did get a result of a denial back then I had to get with my team leader to see how to proceed with the account. I also did faxing, filing, and other office duties.
