Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement safety and environment friendly work practice in all worksite operation.

Endless monitor and enforces Environmental, Health, and Safety standard plus the company policies within worksite.

Implement proper housekeeping on site and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.).

Prepare, review, and implement written safety and environmental policies and proper procedures.

Asses Safety of headway’s work areas and job assignments.

Promote Safety and environmental awareness within employee’s population.

Prepare all safety/environmental reports and data for permit updates and endless monitoring of daily activities.

Manage, investigate, and recommend improvements for safety and environment Programs.

Provide Health, Safety, and environment trainings and maintain training records.

Prepare and participate in Emergency Response activities.

Perform Risk Assessments, Job-Hazard Analysis, and Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA).

Supervises the preparation of safety/environmental signs and installation of barricades, especially in areas prone to erosion as required in the worksite.

Daily routine inspection on worksite before, during and after operations.

Enforce company safety/environmental rules and regulations inside the worksite.

Conducting Safety orientation to all newly hired employees and visitors.

Conducting Tool-Box meeting before the start of work.

Administer the preparation and monitoring of work permits prior to the start of operation as required by managements.

Provides advice and counsel to all employees.

Manage and contain hazardous and other special waste.

Monitor proper management, containment, and disposal of ordinary solid waste.

Promotes recycling of recyclable materials.

Promotes re-using of re-usable materials.

Promotes reduction of garbage.

Promotes good relation to the neighboring communities by donating useless materials from the plant/worksite but useful to the community.

Ensures compliance to the EMB rules and regulation in regards to clean water act and clean air act and other legal matters.

Act as liaison officer to the EMB regional office

Conduct ambient air/water (fresh & marine) quality monitoring
