This includes hourly payroll administration, organizational design, benefits administration, performance management, training and development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations and recruitment of exempt and non exempt talent.
Key Results:
Led Shreveport, LA plant closure in 2006 while simultaneously expanding the Kilgore, TX facility focusing on successfully transferring 30 Shreveport hourly personnel to Kilgore, TX.
Hired 40 plus hourly personnel within a 60 day time frame with zero production issues or internal/external employee complaints. Received Alcoa Certificate of Achievement and $3000 bonus for effort.
Secured over $500,000 in training grants to support the overall Shreveport training initiative and $270,000 training grant in Kilgore, TX that closed 70% of the skill gaps in injection molding and basic computer skills for production and maintenance employees.
Partnered with Kilgore Economic Development Corporation to secure over $600,000 for job creation and tax incentives for a $8 million expanded Kilgore manufacturing facility.
Reduced time to hire from 45 days to less than 30 days at all locations for hourly personnel.
