DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cargo Acceptance: 360 degrees inspection on the actual cargo. Inspecting for damages
And discrepancies before accepting, to ensure good cargo handling.
- Measuring its length, width and height.
- And getting its actual weight.
- Cargo Documentation: Manifesting
- Airway bill Segregation
- Build Up: Actual Cargo build up to its pallet/ULD allocations
- ULD Inventories
- Dangerous Goods acceptance, perishables and others
- Monitoring of ULD’s and containers in and out of flights
- Monitoring of loading, telexing, manifesting and segregation of document
-Checks the actual and volumetric weight as based on weights as indicated on the AWB vs. TRM.
-Make sure that the packages are in good condition.
-Reports discrepancies to the consignee or shipper and to his immediate superior.
- Ensure safe acceptance/handling and loading of dangerous goods/valuables and other special cargo.
- Counter check AWB on hand against booking and lying list.
- Prepares master list for all cargoes to be loaded.
- Coordinate with acceptance agent for any discrepancies and/or irregularities.
- Ensures that documents are complete as based on the cargoes to be loaded.
- Instructs loaders as to what cargoes will be loaded into pallets and into containers based on the booking advice.
- Ensures that all cargoes are handled and loaded properly into ULD’S.
- Ensures that all cargoes are properly accounted in their destinations.
- Coordinates with the manifest agent
