I am interested in a position on your team where my skills can be best utilized. I am a hands-on person, not afraid to roll up my sleeves, setting up and running CNC machines. I have been in a lead position most of my career. It is my hope that there is a place for my skill set in your organization.

I’m experienced in creating CNC machine programs and developing machine processes from part drawings for CNC machining cells. My responsibilities included developing and documenting set-up instructions, creating process drawings and tooling requirements for manufacturing. Revising current programs to optimize machining time versus tooling cost.

My highest level of expertise is CNC lathes. I also have several years programming CNC mills and wire EDMs. My specialization is programming and process improvement for CNC machines and identifying potential design or manufacturing process issues. My focus is maintaining high quality standards while meeting production goals. I can program and setup complex parts. I’m a quality conscious, team player with a strong prototype, R & D background.

I have 20 years experience in the CNC machining industry. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a certificate in GibbsCam and have MasterCam X4 & X5 experience.

Other college courses include numerical Control Programming (4.0 GPA) and SmartCam CadCam at Gateway College in Phoenix, Arizona, also TekSoft CadCam, at Mesa College in Mesa, Arizona. I have used Esprit CadCam software, had a 5 day class but with minimal experience..

I have experience machining close tolerance jet aircraft and engine components, using exotic metals and super alloys, for customers such as Boeing and Allied Signal. I have experience with such exotic aircraft metals as waspalloy, haynes alloy, titanium, mahr, stelite, inconel, etc. Some of these materials are machined with ceramic inserts and tooling. I have gained a great deal of knowledge while working for companies on the cutting edge of technology, in the aerospace industry. These companies include the well known McDonnell Douglas Apache Helicopter Co. I have also machined many prototype components for Allied Signal, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas.
