MATTEL LAUNCHPAD
Description
The project had 5 different modules out of which I worked for 2 modules. Waterfall model was followed in this project.
Module 1 – Party Data Store
There was a fragmented 360 degree view of customer details and change in customer details in one cannel was not reflected across all channels. Hence the idea PDS was put forth. PDS (Party Data Store) is a centralized party storage system to collect party information from different source systems and provide a single standardized view of party information across all channels.
Module 2 – Order History Data Store
As more features were introduced to existing OMS (Order Management System) the clients felt the need to have a separate system for handling the closed orders which is the OHDS. OHDS (Order History Data Store) consists of all the closed order details.
Roles and Responsibilities
Involved in the design, development and testing of PDS as a web service.
Involved in development of WSDL in for OHDS.
Came up with the logic for Contact Mechanism complex part of PDS and successfully implemented it.
Provided ESB testing and SIT support.
Provided bug fixes in production environment.
Effectively communicated with team members.
Was part of the CMMi audit for the project.
The design and the PDS application were highly appreciated by the clients as the code was delivered with very few defects.
Have received appreciation from senior team members and have been recognized and rewarded for my contribution in the project.
ACADEMIC PROJECT
Automatic Digit System
Language of Implementation: MATLAB
A team of 3 trained the system for digits 0-9.
Based on the trained data set Gaussian clusters will be formed for each digit.
These Gaussian clusters will help determine the digit uttered by comparing the values.
A Paper was published on the project in CSI Kolkata, December 2012 Conference.
