Atlas Testing follows Service Oriented architecture which deals with request and response model. Atlas testing is 100% automated using TCR tool. TCR is a C# application which uses certain APIs which can be used to assert the result of each test case as data persisted in Database. Using TCR, we do the following:
Request XML submission and capturing the XML response.
Response XML data validation using XPATH.
Data Assertion in Atlas and Sophis Db.
Checking data flow and validation for the business rules.
Working as an onsite coordinator and task assignment, attending daily meetings, project management and knowledge sharing sessions with offshore team.

The Basel Accord is an extensive proposal intended to act as a catalyst for the development of advanced methods to manage risk and the capital adequacy of financial institutions worldwide. The latest Basel framework is intended to more closely align regulatory capital requirements with underlying risk, and to provide financial institutions with expanded options in assessing capital adequacy.
This is an Automation project where the main goal is to automate this whole testing process to a very large extent with minimal manual intervention. Various PL/SQL procedures are developed and these procedures are fetching tables dynamically which are to be tested, fetching column names using Oracle system tables. Procedures will compare a large amount of data in minutes. The Automation Data team is loading the test cases and source and target query into their respective tables which will be used to test the specific test cases for each of the projects. The application then will load a test result table and a failed test case table
Excel Macros are created which creates Mock data, generates Test Cases and creates Queries.
Running Informatica workflows and autosys jobs to load data, validating mappings as per Specification, debugging jobs for the issues by looking into workflow logs and session logs by using Informatica.
Writing Macros to create Test Cases, to generate Mock data and to generate queries.
